Phillip was a man after God's own heart. He loved the Lord and looked forward to attending church. He carried a tattered Bible in his pocket everywhere he went. He used any spare time that he found reading God's Word and in prayer. He was a Deacon at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Teays Valley, WV. Phillip loved to do missions and was an excellent leader for his mission teams. Phillip had a heart for helping people and was the first one to volunteer if there was a need. He frequently did jobs for widows and the elderly. Sometimes without them knowing about it. Phillip had a beautiful voice and sang in church at every opportunity. He also used this gift to sing at funerals and weddings.
