Phillip loved to hunt. He killed his first deer when he was 12-years old. He loved hunting season because it was a special time that he shared with his Dad. They often spent the week of Thanksgiving at Williams River. Phillip loved to camp. There was something about being in the outdoors that made him feel free. He often said, "Being outside is when I feel closest to God." We often camped at Blue Stone Lake. Dad always made sure we were all comfortable. He even brought a 12-inch tv/dvd player, so Andrew could watch his movies.
